Allie and Camp’s story began in October 2021 during Oklahoma State’s iconic Homecoming Celebration. Both were returning to celebrate their alma mater as alumni for the first time. Camp had been a Sig Ep at Oklahoma State, while Allie’s family had a longstanding connection with the fraternity. Their shared history with the attending the same university and having Sig Ep connections set the stage for their paths to cross. Camp also grew up in Keller, and Allie’s cousins lived just down the road in Southlake. With many mutual friends, including Logan and Karly, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for their lives to intersect.

During Homecoming, Allie, who had recently moved to the DFW area, decided to make the trip to Stillwater. Camp was also in town and both ended up at the Sig Ep Alum tailgate, where they were surrounded by mutual friends including Logan and Karly. As Allie was chatting with Karly, Camp noticed and asked Logan if Karly was talking to “Allie Reddout.” Logan filled him in on what Allie was doing post-grad and informed him that she had recently relocated to DFW. When Allie and Camp met moments later, their introduction was brief, and they went their separate ways.

A few days after homecoming, Camp couldn’t get Allie out of his mind. He decided to reach out to her on Instagram, and they exchanged messages sporadically over the next year, though they never managed to make concrete plans to meet up.

A year later, Karly and Logan were tying the knot, and both Allie and Camp attended their wedding, where the connection between them sparked once more. Despite their initial awkwardness, Karly took it upon herself to bridge the gap, bringing Allie and Camp together for a genuine conversation. The night was filled with laughter and connection, and when Allie’s phone died while she was trying to call an Uber, Camp and his friend Hayden graciously offered her a place to charge her phone and arrange a ride. As Camp walked Allie to the hotel’s circle drive to meet her Uber, Camp gathered his courage and asked Allie out on a date. Of course, she said yes!

A few weeks later, they enjoyed their first date at RA Sushi, ending the evening with a glass of wine at Jane’s. They were both smitten, and on October 2nd, 2022, they officially became a couple. Since then, they have been inseparable, growing together and cherishing each moment. Allie often says that they had an invisible string tying them together, a nod to the Taylor Swift song that Camp, not surprisingly, isn’t a fan of.

Some charming coincidences in their story include Allie recruiting Cambry during her own recruitment at Oklahoma State, and Camp having lived with Allie’s cousin Garrett for a while in college. It’s these small, but sweet connections make their story so special! Here's to the next chapter in their story as a married couple!
